Thanks again to everyone for your support and prayers. I thought it would be neat to share some of our favorite memories of Dan on the blog. If you have a quick memory you would like to share please comment on this blog post. It doesn’t have to be a big experience, in fact, Dan preferred the small, quiet things of life. Please share with us so we can have a record of the laughter and the love that surrounded my fathers life.

I worked for Wasatch Academy until 2010. I was one of the younger teachers and all of my immediate family live in Missouri. I was in the Math/Science building and didn’t interact with Dan much but there was one day that I walked by the tennis courts where he was holding practice with a beau and suddenly Dan was on our side of the fence to greet us and shake hands and almost started interviewing the poor guy right there on the spot! I hadn’t realized at the time that he was in the stake presidency at Snow College but at that moment he jumped right into his calling! I had a good laugh over it but also with my family so far away it meant a lot to me to know there was someone watching out for me. He was my dad for the day.
